Statt im Müll zu landen, werden die Bretter zu HAPPY SNAGS: handgefertigte Unikate, die nicht nur unglaublich viel Spaß bringen, sondern auch deine Zeit im Schnee verlängern. Gemeinsam mit Kooperationspartnern aus der Snowboardindustrie retten wir Materialien, nutzen die intakten Teile und verwandeln sie in etwas Neues – etwas, das Kultur, Kreativität und Nachhaltigkeit verbindet.

At HAPPY SNAG, we give old snowboards a new life. Instead of letting them go to waste, we upcycle discarded boards into unique HAPPY SNAGS – playful, functional snowsurfers that maximize your fun in the snow. In collaboration with partners from the snowboard industry, we transform the intact and still-valuable parts of retired boards into fresh shapes and designs, full of character and creativity.

HAPPY SNAG ist inspiriert von den Anfängen des Snowboardens, als Snurfer die ersten Lines in den Powder zogen. Unsere Shapes sind ein Tribut an diese Zeit – roh, verspielt und voller Freiheit. Mit experimentellen Tailshapes und individuellen Designs lassen wir uns von der DNA jedes Snowboards leiten. Kein Snag gleicht dem anderen. Jeder trägt die Geschichte seines Vorgängers in sich, weitergedacht und neu interpretiert.

Every piece is a one-of-a-kind creation, shaped by hand and guided by the original snowboard’s design. Jedes HAPPY SNAG entsteht in Handarbeit.
Nach einer Qualitätsprüfung und Vermessung wird das alte Snowboard in seine neue Form gebracht – im besten Fall entstehen sogar zwei Snags aus einem Deck. Shape, Tail und Traction Pad sind individuell, oft auch nach Kundenwunsch. Kein Board verlässt unsere Werkstatt, ohne Liebe zum Detail, Kreativität und Handarbeit.
Each HAPPY SNAG is carefully inspected, measured, and crafted – often two boards from one old snowboard. Every board is hand-shaped and individually designed, no two are alike.
Custom requests? Tail shapes, traction pads, and more – we’ll bring your ideas to life.

Für die Traction Pads nutzen wir Naturkork aus Portugal – rutschfest, ökologisch und ästhetisch.

Versiegelt werden die Boards mit einem natürlichen Lacköl auf Basis von Lein- und Chinaholzöl, komplett lösungsmittelfrei.

Die Halteseile bestehen aus hochwertigem Yachttauwerk, das zu 100 % aus recycelten PET-Flaschen hergestellt wird
- Traction pads: Made from natural Portuguese cork – eco-friendly, durable, and with a perfect grip.

Finish: Protected with 100% natural oil varnish from linseed and China wood oil, free of harmful solvents.

Ropes: High-quality yacht cord made from 100% recycled PET bottles.

HAPPY SNAG ist nicht nur ein Produkt, sondern eine Bewegung. Wir schaffen Orte, an denen Snowboard- und Surfkultur lebendig bleibt: Pop-Ups, Side-Events, Workshops und Collabs mit Künstler:innen und Brands. Gemeinsam bauen wir nicht einfach Bretter, sondern Begegnungen.
